Just got back from our trip to Vienna and we had a lovely weekend with Amie and Jon! So happy we could make it work to spend a few days with them. Josh and I took an overnight train Thursday, that actually turned out not to be so bad. We were able to get some rest and we even had our own private bathroom and shower, which was a little different than what we experienced 4 years ago. I didn't exactly go into it with the best attitude but it actually turned out to be quite nice. What's more important is that we did not have to waist a day traveling. Josh is trying to use his vacation days sparingly so we can travel as much as we can while we are here in Europe.
We had a beautiful Friday in Vienna exploring and although it rained Saturday, we still managed to do some biking as soon as the sky cleared up in the afternoon. While we were there we also caught several music festivals, along with a beer festival that made my Hubby one super happy boy! All and all we had a great time and we look forward to getting to celebrate Amie's Birthday before they leave when they get back to Warsaw this Thursday.
Then this Friday Josh & I will be off to FRANCE to meet the Phillip's! =)
Please excuse the poor quality of pictures. I didn't want to lug my big camera around since I had already taken it to Vienna with me in April. So for this trip we made our little cannon work. I have become so spoiled with all the great pictures our DSLR takes, that it is hard to not compare when any other camera is used. Anyways here they are.........
