Manard Xmas party 2013

This year we decided to host a little Christmas party for our friends and kiddos for the holidays.  Josh got incredibly festive and decided to purchase a Santa Costume for the kids this year. To be honest I wasn't so sure how they would take it and I was a bit skeptical that a few of the older ones would see right thru the costume but I have to say it was a COMPLETE hit and so so sweet!  The Adults laughed, the kids were excited, and I do have to say a few were scared (including Alexander) but that has to be expected when you put a toddler next to Santa (ha!). It was all in good fun and I am thinking the Manard's have to make it a yearly tradition. =-)

We ended the night with Josh playing an impromptu jam out with the kids! They loved singing and dancing around. Unfortunately we missed taking a video of Jason playing the guitar and singing his famous song (which everyone totally LOVED!)…..

Thanksgiving 2013

We hosted our first Thanksgiving in our home this year. There are still sooo many "to do" lists but more importantly we had a full functioning kitchen to whip up or delicious feast! It was so nice to have everyone over and we all most definitely enjoyed all our yummy food. We hope to do it again soon and  I think its safe to say Thanksgiving 2013 was a success!
