9 months

9 Months here we go! Count down to 1 year is approaching sooo fast. I have been loving this past Month. You really are a very independent baby and so easily pleased. Your Dad and I talk about what a ham you are because you are always smiling to others and to any stranger who stops by to say "hi".  We have definitely seen a change in your activity this past month. You are much more of a wiggle worm and trying to change your cloths, diapers,  or even brush your hair is a task because you try to wiggle yourself away. I hear it only gets worse! Ha
As much as we want you to crawl you just simply aren't ready yet. We have seen a tremendous progress in your activity over the last month. You are up on all fours rocking, crawling backwards but just not really forwards yet. You did crawl forward about 4 steps a few days ago and have managed to do it a few times since then but something tells me you are getting much closer. You have also started to go from sitting position to crawling position and vice versa. Going to your 9 month appointment the doctor eased my fear and just thinks you are a really laid back/content baby and that more than likely crawling or being mobile is around the corner. For now you just continue to roll all over the place to get to where you want to go! ha
We love you beyond words and LOVE seeing your personality shine as you continue to grow!

Here are your 9 month stats:
height: 29 inches- 85%
Weight: 24.3 lbs- 93%
FOC: 18 1/2 inches- 90%

Your a heavy boy but Doctor says you are very proportionate, although my
arms beg to differ!

*has started to say Mama more often along with Dada
*has waved hi on command several times
*imitates us when we shake our head "no"
*obsessed with dominos, the tags on your toys, and blankets
*you LOVE music and to dance, you are DEF your Momma's child
*Flaps and waves his arms when he is really exciting....Love!
*Loves to give us kisses on our noses
*we thought you were teething this past month on our trips to Dallas but we quickly realized
your just much more aware of unfamiliar surroundings. Sleeping in your pack & play in a strange
place was not as easy for your sleep as when you are at home in your crib. Your getting smart!
*no teeth but the doctor says she thinks she sees your bottom teeth on the way horizon
*Sleeping well. Schedule looks like this....night sleep from 7pm to 7:30/8am (ever since the time change you have been sleeping in pretty late.)
*Naps are twice a day. Morning nap is about 2 hours and afternoon nap 1 1/2 hours.
*still 4 bottles a day and 3 meals a day...we have started to give you finger foods here and there but
Momma is still scared since you're lacking teeth (my biggest fear is a choking baby! ugh)
