Thanksgiving

So I have a little catching up to do since our computer decided to take a dive as soon as we landed in Poland.  So I will first start off talking about Thanksgiving......

This year Thanksgiving was particularly special for us because it would be the last time Josh and I would  get to spend time with family before we made the move to Poland.  Initially we had planned on leaving the day after Thanksgiving to head back to Houston to catch our flight but due to a delay in getting our Visas we had to postpone our flights for the following Tuesday.  I am not going to lie but I was secretly happy because it just meant we had more time to spend with family before we had to go.

On top of being amongst family and good friends we got to indulge in the next best thing and that is eating delicious food. This of course includes Abuelita's famous Salvadorian Turkey. We normally only get the privilege of eating her yummy Turkey for Thanksgiving once a year because the preparation and the making of this Turkey takes up to two days to complete. Honestly nothing has ever come close to the deliciousness that is this Turkey and I look forward to this every single year.  It really is out of this world!  So our Thanksgiving week began with family get togethers starting on Wednesday carrying all the way thru Saturday, so by the end of the week our tummies suffered from chronically being full. It seriously felt as though we had gained 10lbs!

Ultimately, Thanksgiving 2010 was a huge success and we could not have spent a more perfect last few days before our move! We love you Family and Friends and will miss you Dearly!!!
