4 Months (14-17 weeks)

Growing Boy he is! My little chunky monkey is soooo MUCH FUN these days! I want to push pause and savor every second at this age. He has become so easy going and I think a lot of that has to do with Josh and I feeling much more confident as parents.  Of course he has his moments just like any baby, but he is so much more predictable these days and we are seriously having the time of our life! We love HIM SOOO MUCH!

Here are his 4 month stats from his appointment and some details on what he has been up....

4 Month Stats

Height: 25 3/4 inches:  85% percentile

Weight: 14lbs 5oz: 45% percentile

*making this high pitch squeal when he is super excited or is being tickled
*no longer being swaddled, is using the sleep sack and seems to love it

*we are starting to hear more belly laughs

*ticklish under his armpits, inner thighs, and when we give him kisses on his neck

*is doing a great job sitting in his bumbo 

*has consistently slept 10 to 11 hours a night for the last 2 weeks...YAY!

*Bedtime is between 7-7:30 and sleeps straight thru to about 6am with a feed, and right back down to 

  sleep until 8:30-9am....WAY to go Alexander! Hopefully you keep this up!

*Curls his legs up and is rolling to his side

*managed to somehow turn himself completely around in his crib in his sleep

*loves facing outwards in the baby bjourn...this kinda makes me sad because this means you don't like

 to be held like a little baby anymoe! =(

*still loving bath time and is starting to kick his legs,arms and play with his toys in the water
*eating about 4-5oz of breast-milk  every 3 hours with a 6 to 7oz bottle at nighttime

*can hold his bottle...what!?!
*spit up on Mommy & Daddy has become more prevalent these days so Alexander constantly sports an
 awesome looking bib  =)
*grabbing toys with his hands and constantly putting them in his mouth
*Follows sound & Mommy and Daddy's voices
*Stays awake about 1hr & 30min before needing to go back down for nap
*loves story time and enjoys looking at all the pictures

Weekend Fun

We had a busy weekend with our fun friends! Friday we spent happy hour and dinner at one of our usual spots. It was perfect weather and perfect getting to catch up with our friends. Saturday we were able to enjoy the OU/TX game over at the Foster's and grubbed on yummy food all day long. 

Perfectly fun weekend indeed!

Greek Festival

So this past weekend we ventured out to the Greek festival, only a few blocks away from our place. Cooler weather came through so we decided to stroll on over to the festival with our little man for some wine and delicious Greek food. We've decided to make this a yearly tradition with Alexander since we're pretty sure he owes his existence to our trip to Greece, a little over a year ago. It's crazy to think that this time last year we had just found out we were pregnant and now our sweet Boy is HERE and growing like CRAZY every single day! 

WE LOVE HIM more and more every single day and are having the time of our life seeing him change and grow into the sweetest little Boy!

Wiggle Worm

Well we have a wiggle worm on our hands and ever since we have been back from our road trip Alexander has been wiggling himself all over his crib! How is my Son starting to move all over the place?!!  Not only have we woke up surprised to see him at the other end of the bed but we have also woken up surprised to see the clock! He has been sleeping 10-11 hours straight the last week. YAY! We have been putting him down about 7pm and he has been waking up around 6am for a feed and right back down until 9:30amish!!!

 I may have just jinxed myself for sharing but I couldn't contain my excitetment! I am sure it will be short lived because nothing is ever consistent when you have a baby but heck I will take it for now. =)
