The Portillo's take over Europe...Pt.2:Vienna

So we headed off to Vienna on yet again another overnight train. Except for this time we were not as lucky. Of course when I plan to take my parents and family they decide to give us an ancient train with no bathroom or showers in our rooms.  The frustrating part is that we payed for it and Josh and I had much better luck with our overnight train this past May. I won't go in to great details about our mishap but lets just say I am still waiting on our refund. Nonetheless my family took it all in stride and although we got NO rest that night we were able to just laugh it off the next day. It made for some great stories over the remainder of the trip!

We arrived in Vienna early Saturday morning to ring in my Father's Birthday. Our friends Edy and Ian drove in from Munich to celebrate Papi's special day and they were waiting for us as soon as we arrived. We spent a great day touring Vienna and ended the night with a wonderful dinner in Honor of my Father! Although the weather was a little iffy at times over the weekend it did not stop us from seeing everything Vienna had to offer. It turned out to be a wonderful weekend indeed!
Here are the Vienna pics......

The Portillo's take over Europe...Pt.1:Warsaw

Well the last 2 weeks have flown by! To say we were busy is an understatement.  I think it is safe to say that everyone is exhausted from our jam packed travel schedule but I feel confidant that everyone is happy that they were able to visit as many places as they were able to see. I have had a wonderful time with my family and it was such a pleasure to get to tour them around all the places Josh and I have gotten to explore. I am amazed at how many new things we were able to see this go around.  The beautiful sights in these amazing cities are endless.

I was so sad to have to say goodbye but I am thankful that Mother gets to hang around a couple more weeks with us.  Also, it appears as though Josh and I's European adventures will be coming to a close sometime in October, so we will get to see family back at home very soon!! Hip Hip Hooray!!! Here are pictures I managed to steal from my parents camera of our time spent in Warsaw...
