A few weeks ago I finally got Josh to take a few pictures of my baby Bump that is growing faster than ever! Its hard to believe that I have finally entered my 3rd trimester! INSANE. To say the second time around is much different than the first is an big understatement. We are soooo looking forward to this babies arrival but most definitely are staying busy with our almost 2 year old! Sometimes I forget I am even pregnant. yikes!
This pregnancy has been a bit different than Alexander. A LOT more morning sickness the first 15 weeks of pregnancy and some definite back pain early on. Thankfully, most of the second trimester has run pretty smoothly other than a slight case of sciatica for a few days and the occasional braxton hicks contractions. I never experienced contractions with Alexander until I went into labor so I was a bit concerned when I started getting them early on around 22 weeks. Fortunately Doctor says that is normal with 2nd pregnancies as long as they are not constant and non painful. Lets be honest having a 35lb toddler who is a busy body keeps me working and busier than EVER! Thankfully our 20 week ultrasound went perfect and baby is healthy and doing great! We also found out we will be having another sweet baby Boy! This makes our hearts so happy and we are beyond excited that Alexander gets to have a BFF for life! Let the CRAZINESS of a Mom with 3 Boys begin! Mia and I will just have to hold down the fort!
Also we have decided on baby Boy's name. Pretty certain his name will be "Braxton James Manard". We LOVE that name and thankfully this time picking a name was a bit easier. We just went with what we liked and didn't look back! Soon A&B will rule our lives! =-)
Anyhow, 3 more months to go! Spring has sprung so this Momma is in full nest mode. Nursery progress has begun and Alexander's 2nd Birthday is approaching! I have a feeling its going to go by really fast and before we know it we will be meeting our newest baby Boy!
