2 Months (Weeks 5-9)

Our sweet angel is growing SO FAST and we are already at 2 months! I feel like so much change has occured over the last 5 weeks and we defintely have a more awake, alert baby on our hands. We have LOVED being able to interact with him more and absolutely LOVE being able to see his personality unfold! Alexander continues to surprise us with his amazing sleep habits. He began sleeping 7 to 8 hours a night starting week 6. Although we have had a few days this past week where I thought we were back tracking because he was waking up once or twice in the middle of the night, I am almost sure he might have been going through a bit of a growth spurt. Lets hope we can get back to 8 hour stretches!

Doctor says our little man is long and lean and is doing great! =) Here are his 2 months stats from his 2 month appointment this past week....
Weight: 10lbs 10oz (25% percentile)
Height: 23 3/4 inches (77% percentile)

This is what Alexander is up to right now...

* LOVES to be bounced on an exercise ball when nothing else seems to console him
* Loves taking walks in the baby Bjourn with his Daddy
* Eyes are def starting to focus on objects and is able to track them
* Enjoys his activity play mat and has started to bat at his toys
* Alexander has found his arms and legs and loves to kick and move them around when he is happy
* Loves taking warm bathes (so much that he may have had a couple of accidents)
* Loves to look at Mommy and Daddy's faces & smile when he is talked to
* Is Cooing all the time and is able to mimic noises we make to him (or at least we think so)
* Giggled for the first time
* Tummy time is hit or miss. He either likes it or hates it. I think it just depends on his mood.
* Wearing size 1 Diapers
* Loves to be swaddled
* Prefers his crib for nap time
* Can only stay awake for 45min before getting crabby
* LOVES car rides and it almost instantly puts him into a sleep coma
