Alexander's 2nd Birthday letter AND 2 year pics

Alexander,

O my! Another year has gone by and what a Big Boy you have become. Your Dad and I have truly enjoyed getting to see you grow so much! Its amazing how much change occurs between year 1& 2 and you impress us everyday with all that you learn. You are now running, jumping, swimming (with your floaties), and talking. We joke around that you are our little Parrot because everything we say somehow gets repeated and we are BLOWN away by all the new words you decide to surprise us with on a daily basis!

You are our sweet, cuddly, independent, fearless, yet feisty 2 year old and we would not want or have it any other way! Of course as we approached 2 years you have given us a run for our money at times but I am pretty sure thats why they call it the terrible 2s! I just believe its you exuding all that confidence and independence that you were born with and we couldn't be more proud of the little boy you are turning out to be!

We are INCREDIBLY blessed by you and Your Dad and I still can't fathom how much deeper our love for you grows on a daily basis!  WE are so very proud to call you ours and We wish you the very BEST 2 Years sweet Boy!!!

The Aquarium

Recently I took Alexander on a little field trip with some of his buddies to the Downtown Houston Aquarium. It was DEF a HOT morning for this preggie Momma but seeing how much fun Alexander had made it totally worth it! We took advantage of the splash pad at the end to get the kiddies all cooled off! Alexander LOVED getting to see all the fish and ride on the train thru the shark tanks and not to mention the ride on the Carousel! As you will see in the last picture Alexander was completely POOPED and so was I!  I can honestly say I am trying to fit in as much summer fun for Alexander as possible before he is homebound with his little brother for a little while! Part of me feels guilty that we are about to rock Big brother's world but I hope it won't take too long for us to get out and about again with little brother in tow!
