Prague, Vienna, & Krakow

We made it back alive!! The Ladies managed to conquer 3 countries and 3 beautiful cities in just 7 days and boy did we come back pooped!

We started off the first part of our trip by heading to our neighbors in the Czech Republic. Josh and I went to Prague about 4 years ago and fell in love with this place, so when my sister and Vicki came to visit I knew a stop in Prague was a definite must. The three of us enjoyed 2 days here before we moved on to Vienna. This was my first visit to Vienna so it was fun getting to see this beautiful city for the first time. I was sad Josh couldn't make the trip with us because of work but we plan to visit Vienna again in May for a weekend, when Amie and Jon come to visit. =) Finally we ended the weekend with a visit to Krakow. We picked Josh up in Warsaw so he could join us.  We enjoyed Krakow's Old town and took long walks exploring the castle grounds. We also had the chance to see the famous Salt Mines, which was a first for Josh and I. It was impressive and absolutely beautiful!

Sunday we got back exhausted and we were in much need of some lazy days. We spent the next couple of days relaxing. Wednesday, Vicki had to go back home but we were happy that we were able to make the most of our time together. Sara will be staying with us for another 3 weeks, which I am super excited about! =) We have a trip planned to go to Switzerland over Easter weekend. It will be a first for all three of us, so we are really looking forward to our first trip to the Swiss Alps. I promise to update you guys as soon as we get back. =)

Much love!

Sister & Vicki are HERE!

So my sister and Vicki made it to Warsaw with no complications, just in time for Spring to make it's grand day beau. Saturday we took a nice walk through Saski park as we admired all the flowers and trees that were beginning to bloom. We also caught a glimpse of a festivel that was going on in honor of John Paul the Pope. April 2nd marked his 6th year anniversary since his passing in 2005. Most of you may not know but John Paul was born in Poland and many celebrated in his honor that day.

I am really looking forward to traveling with these lovely ladies this week. We head to Prague the first leg of the week and then onto Vienna.  We will travel back to Warsaw this Friday to scoop up the hubby so we can spend the weekend in Krakow.  Lots of traveling the next few days but I will be writing and posting pictures of our experiences soon!

Bye for now.
